  • Brand new Swarbrick & Nicol CD available now. 'Another Fine Mess - Live in New York '84' features 100% previously unreleased live material and should be a must-have release. More details by clicking on the image to the right and at our Swarbrick & Nicol mini-site which also includes dates for the reunion gigs and also a special offer for our 2002 Swarbrick & Nicol release - 'In The Club'.

  • New review of 'Another Fine Mess' written by Carey Hancock has just been added to the album page here.

  • Two dates at the Half Moon in Putney have been added to the Swarbrick & Nicol tour. Details at the mini-site.

  • Brand new Swarbrick & Nicol CD set for November release. Compiled from live recordings from the duo's previous life-span in the early eighties, it should be a must-have release. Pre-orders being taken now! More details at our Swarbrick & Nicol mini-site which also includes dates for the reunion gigs and also a special offer for our 2002 Swarbrick & Nicol release - 'In The Club'.

  • Some new additions to The Swarb Archive including a great original ad for the 'Swarbrick' LP, a 1971 article from Beat Instrumental magazine, and a Melody Maker news item on Fairport splitting in 1979.

  • Various improvements throughout the site - including a new menu page & new photos etc on the album pages.

  • Free Reed are working on a Swarb box-set as a follow-up to their excellent Fairport Unconventional, and Carthy Chronicles. Both sets contain a lot of Swarb, notably the Fairport one, so it's worth paying them a visit @ http://www.free-reed.co.uk/ We'll be working closely with Free Reed on the Swarb Box and more details will emerge over the coming months. If you have any rare Swarb recordings that may be of use, please email Free Reed.

  • Hot off the presses we now have Swarb & Alistair Hulett's new CD, 'Red Clydeside', in stock. Available now from TheSwarbStore at £13.00 (inc. UK p&p).

  • Major project - a complete (?) discography almost ready.

  • Swarb's now busily relearning lots of Fairport material for this year's Cropredy Festival. It's Fairport's 35th anniversary and many of the past & present members are reuniting for sets on both Friday and Saturday night. More information available by clicking on the logo below.

We've given the site quite an extensive overhaul for 2002. The Atrax site is now in it's own section, with a new direct address and a Swarb-flavoured redesign. The main additions/alterations are listed below:

  • Order Details now updated with prices in EUROs. EURO orders being accepted now.

  • The Swarb Store improved with better lay-out, new photos etc.

  • The Swarb Archive also improved; several new photos and a major new addition - The Obituary Files - more to come soon...

  • Major project - a complete (?) discography almost ready.
